Pool
The practical part of Survival in water training is held in a swimming pool. After practical course in a swimming pool the pilot will have the necessary knowledge and practical skills how to use a life-raft and other similar equipment, to act after evacuation from the aircraft.
During practise in the pool, students will be introduced to:
- Flotation equipment, its criteria and equipment of use in water;
- Life raft and other equipment, its criteria and the use in water;
- Practical training of „Maritime Survival";
- Basic first aid and survival training;
- Unplanned evacuations on the water;
- Caution measures.
