Aviation Training Courses

We offer Type Rating Training course for Mi-8 family helicopters:

• Mi-8;
• Mi-17;
• Mi-171;
• Mi-172.

Helicopter Мi - 8/17/171/172 Type Rating Training Course is intended to give a participant the necessary knowledge and skills to master the helicopter, with the successful outcome of a procedure or manoeuvre never in doubt, and to meet or exceed the appropriate requirements/standards.

Entry requirements:

• 70 hours as pilot-in-command of helicopters;
• Valid ME, IR (multi-engine, instrument rating);
• Valid PPL(H), CPL(H) or ATPL(H);
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate;
• MCC certificate of completion or experience of multi-crew helicopters;
• English level 4 according to ICAO requirements.

Helicopter Мi - 8/17/171/172 Training Course Content

Ground Training:

• Aircraft Systems;
• Mock-up of the flight deck (CPT);
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOP);
• Mass & Balance, Limitations, Flight Operation.

Ground Training duration: 15 days.
Ground Training location: Vilnius (Lithuania) or the client's preferred location.

Flight Training:

• Full Flight Simulator – 8 sessions, 32 hrs;
• Crew examination in Full Flight Simulator – 4 hrs.

Ground Training duration: 9 days.

Instructor:

• Official Training language: English;
• Consultations available in Lithuanian and Russian.

Full Flight Simulator location:

• Ukraine;
• Lithuania.
