Flight Dispatchers Training
Baltic Aviation Academy is ready to assist you in seeking for the most challenging profession – Flight Dispatcher (FD). The complex process of the aircraft arrangement and flight conduction means the fluency of cooperation among many related teams. The whole process is subject to many factors: weather conditions on the route and in the departure/destination airports, wind, navigation devices, technical status and characteristics of the aircrafts, available fuel, etc.
The proper take-off and conduction of the flight depends on the performance of the qualified professionals responsible for coordination and control of all teams performance engaged in flight service. The Flight Dispatcher Training Program of Baltic Aviation Academy provides the necessary knowledge and skills to the candidates for this challenging profession.
The Flight Dispatcher Training Program is designed to train for flight arrangements, assistance to cabin crew and coordination of all flight related teams. The training is available both to novices and the experienced aviation experts seeking for conversion. The program complies with the requirements of Annex 1 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation, ICAO Doc. 7192-AN / 857 D-3 and Flight Dispatcher Licensing Rules of the Republic of Lithuania.
The graduates of the program will be able:
- To provide the safety and efficiency of the flight upon estimation of the dominating factors;
- To operate in compliance with the provisions of Annex 1 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation (ICAO Annex 6 Operation of Aircraft, Chapter 4 Flight Operations).
Entry requirements:
- Age: 21 years and over;
- At least secondary education certificate;
- Language skills: 4 level according to ICAO requirements.
Training duration
Without aviation experience:
- Ground training: 224 hs;
- Practice: 22 hs.
For experienced aviation professionals:
- Ground training: 100 hs;
- Practice: 6 hs.
After successful examination pass CAA will issue FD license against the documents as provided in the Licensing Rules.
