Baltic Aviation Academy’s Airbus A320 FFS approved by Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyzstan Civil Aviation Authority has issued to Baltic Aviation Academy (Vilnius, Lithuania) an approval certificate to operate the type rating training on Airbus A320 Full Flight Simulator (FFS). Baltic Aviation Academy has been earlier approved by Civil Aviation Authorities of Kazakhstan and Ukraine to conduct Boeing 737 type rating training.
“As the Kyrgyzstan aviation market currently is in a developing process and is demanded to raise safety regulations to the European level, airlines have to define the clear strategies to optimize the productivity. Baltic Aviation Academy is glad to contribute to Kyrgyzstan’s aviation by ensuring high quality flight personnel training”, commented Egle Vaitkeviciute, Chief Executive Officer at Baltic Aviation Academy.
Kyrgyzstan is one of the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries. According to the statistics the aviation traffic in CIS countries will continue to grow by over 6% per year until 2026. International routes will be the main market for expansion – the intersection between Middle East and Asia Pacific, two most rapidly growing aviation markets in the world, is the key factor for the strong growth. Traffic to North America, Latin America and Africa are expected to grow in excess of 8% until 2026. Increased productivity is mainly based on the renewal of aircraft fleets.
Baltic Aviation Academy is the main type rating training provider for the main Kyrgyzstan airline – Kyrgyz Airways, former national airlines, operating domestic and charter flights.
