Baltic Aviation Academy Starts Airbus A320 Type Rating Training
The aviation specialists training centre Baltic Aviation Academy (Lithuania) added Airbus A320 type to its Tape Rating training list and has become the fastest-growing aviation training centre in the Eastern European region.
The ground school is conducted at Baltic Aviation Academy facilities in Vilnius by the high qualified instructors’ team from Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, Slovenia, Italy, Greece, Germany, and Austria. Academy operates the network of full flight simulators in Lithuania, Spain, France, USA, Germany, and United Kingdom.
”This year was the year of grow – the Baltic Aviation Academy expanded its capabilities by adding new type rating courses and by increasing geography of operated full flight simulators network. We have analysed the needs of the Eastern European aviation market and have developed training programs for most popular aircraft types in the region. At the moment we could offer type rating training for nine types of aircraft and plan to add four more types by the end of the year. With such a progress, we will become one of Eastern Europe leading pilot training centre,” said Egle Vaitkeviciute, CEO of Baltic Aviation Academy.
According to her, Baltic Aviation Academy strives both to expand the aircraft type list and to reach the full flight simulators occupation of 20,000 hours per year. Such indicator would allow the Academy to offer to its customers the most convenient locations of simulator with the best price in the market.
Today Baltic Aviation Academy offers type rating training for Airbus A320, Boeing 737 CL, Boeing 737 NG, Boeing 757/767, Saab 2000, Saab 340, ATR-42/72, Embraer ERJ-145, Bombardier CRJ-100/200. By the end of this year Academy plans to reaceved an approval certificate to operate the type rating training for another four types of aircraft.
